Our Right To Grow (Manitoba)

We need your help!
This August 26 marks the 1-year anniversary of the lawsuit we launched against this unconstitutional ban. Over the past year we have been hammering the Government with undeniable evidence backed by experts from across Canada, with hopes to be in court by this December.
In an effort to put additional pressure on the Government I’ve decided to hold a peaceful protest at the Manitoba Legislative Building in Winnipeg from 10am-7pm on August 26, 2021.
This is bigger than just our 4 cannabis plants. This ban sets a strong precedent for the Manitoba Government to ban other Federal Rights as they see fit… NOT ON OUR WATCH!!!
We are very mindful of the current Covid-19 regulations, so in an effort to limit the amount of people in attendance at one time, we’ve decided to set up a table with a “guest book”, where people can make a brief appearance to show support while writing (anonymously or openly) a message.
The more people who are in support of this ban coming down, the more likely we are to achieve victory.
I really hope to see you at the Leg on August 26, 2021.

The State of Craft – Episode 7, featuring Kirk Tousaw

The State of Craft is a webinar series focused on the legal craft cannabis industry.

The rollout of cannabis legalization in Canada has been full of ups and downs. The craft cannabis industry in particular has been immensely affected by a myriad of challenges and missteps in the years following the Cannabis Act and Cannabis Regulations.

In The State of Craft, Sami Majadla, CEO of CertiCraft, facilitates conversations with leaders in the legal craft cannabis industry to explore what is going well and what is going not-so-well. We’ll discuss what can realistically be changed at different levels of government and industry alike to address major issues the craft cannabis sector is facing, and hopefully inspire stimulating ideas of all sorts. Every episode will end with a 15 min live Q&A with our audience.

In Episode 7, Sami will be joined by Kirk Tousaw.

Cannabis Expo – Edmonton

To our friends, exhibitors and supporters of The Cannabis Expo:

We are in uncharted territories, and these last few weeks have been extremely tumultuous and unprecedented. We have watched and are watching daily as our community takes extraordinary precautions doing their best to flatten the curve and looking after the safety of the community first and foremost.

This has impacted many of us severely, with temporary business and event closures, staff layoffs and personal distancing. Our livelihoods changing remarkably, and our businesses shaken. However, while times are unprecedented and circumstances are fluid, we also know this is temporary. We still need to plan for the future and look towards the next Edmonton Cannabis Expo.

Our team is committed to providing a platform dedicated to strengthening the community, where shopping local can and will help support our customers as business owners to get through these uncertain times.

Currently, the Edmonton Cannabis Expo has been rescheduled to October 3 & 4, 2020

We are grateful to see our community come together and grateful for your continued patience and support.

Be well, be kind, be safe,
The Cannabis Expo Team
