Conscious Cannabis: Business for Social Good

By

Momentum around global cannabis legalization is the highest it has ever been, and yet, today is the smallest the industry will ever be. As a multipurpose agricultural crop primed for food, fiber, medicine, and more: the cannabis plant has the potential to become one of the most in-demand commodities of the next decade.

With the birth of this new global sector comes a timely opportunity to redefine “business as usual” and to develop transparent, responsible value chains for cannabis consumer packaged goods. As more nation-states revise their cannabis policies, and more commercial cannabis operations are created, ESG and social impact frameworks can lead the way towards conscious production and consumption like no industry has ever done before.

Join the GA x CEG alongside a panel of cannabis and social impact experts for a dynamic 60-minute webinar focused on the current and future state of cannabis, and the impact this new global commodity can have on people and the planet.

The eyes of the world are on us, as we continue to develop a robust cannabis industry providing safe, quality cannabis to Canadians. Our opportunity to set the bar for quality for the global stage is now, the most important question we can ask is, “how”? Get a unique blend of vision, inspiration and practical skills from a diverse panel of speakers, take the opportunity to network with QA and compliance professionals, provincial and regulatory agencies, and service providers. Together we will establish the Canadian Cannabis industry as a world leader in quality and innovation. We are all part of the very beginning of our industry. Years from now people will look at the individuals at the very first C-45 Quality Association meeting and recognize the pioneers and leaders who were at the start of the Quality Community. Cannabis Expo – Edmonton

By

To our friends, exhibitors and supporters of The Cannabis Expo:

We are in uncharted territories, and these last few weeks have been extremely tumultuous and unprecedented. We have watched and are watching daily as our community takes extraordinary precautions doing their best to flatten the curve and looking after the safety of the community first and foremost.

This has impacted many of us severely, with temporary business and event closures, staff layoffs and personal distancing. Our livelihoods changing remarkably, and our businesses shaken. However, while times are unprecedented and circumstances are fluid, we also know this is temporary. We still need to plan for the future and look towards the next Edmonton Cannabis Expo.

Our team is committed to providing a platform dedicated to strengthening the community, where shopping local can and will help support our customers as business owners to get through these uncertain times.

Currently, the Edmonton Cannabis Expo has been rescheduled to October 3 & 4, 2020

We are grateful to see our community come together and grateful for your continued patience and support.

Be well, be kind, be safe,
The Cannabis Expo Team
