Pickering – Let’s Talk Cannabis
April 17 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT
Residences of Pickering – are you looking for more information on cannabis legalisation and how it can affect our city? Join us at Sabina’s Casual Dining and Pub on Wednesday, April 17th from 7pm-9pm for a free community educational event.
Hosted by Pickering resident and cannabis educator, enthusiast and activist Abigail Sampson, you can learn more about the cannabis plant as well as the current laws associated with cannabis for medicinal and adult use.
Also in attendance to answer questions will be Jack Lloyd and Tiara Sillet. Lloyd is a lawyer with over a decade of experience in the cannabis industry with a focus on constitutional litigation and is currently the President of NORML Canada, the longest running cannabis advocacy group in the country. Sillet is a Pickering resident and entrepreneur, who in 2017 co-founded Natural Buz, a cannabis patient intake and education centre in the Bay Ridges neighbourhood.
As this event is open to the public, we encourage you to share this post to other Pickering residences who may be interested. We look forward to sharing an evening of dialogue and information.
